Successful sculptors and artists will vie for the $20,000 Scenic World Sculpture Major Award, the $5,000 Artist Peer Award, and the $1,000 People’s Choice Award, sponsored by The Carrington.

New Sculpture at Scenic World Exhibition Manager Justin Morrissey brings a strong background in sculpture, having managed installations at Sydney’s Sculpture By the Sea for seven years.

Also a keen environmentalist and horticulturist, Justin says:

“I will be encouraging artists locally, nationally and internationally to submit their wildest and most wonderful ideas to be presented in this pristine rainforest environment… We will continue to strive to implement design and management processes, planning and operational procedures that minimize any impact our exhibition has on the natural environment.“
