At indoor garden shows, poor lighting often spoils the vibrancy of the flowers and a background of walls and industrial ceilings banishes all thought of fresh air and gardening. Yet this display garden in Cleveland, Ohio, cleverly uses lighting to do exactly the opposite – it looks quiet, serene and right at home.
A miniature replica of the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel on the edge of Falls Creek Lake, Pine Mountain, Georgia, is nestled beneath mature conifers, and then dimly lit to allow a beautiful stain glass window to dominate the scene.
