Glass sculptor Dale Chihuly returns to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona with a new exhibition running from Nov 2013 until May 18, 2014. And according to those installing the works, apparently teddy-bear cactus is a lot sharper than glass.
The sombre tones of the Garden’s Sonoran desert plants are a perfect foil for Chihuly’s colourful and often playful pieces which are brought to dazzling life by the strong Arizona sunshine.
