The RHS has announced the line-up of garden designers for the 2014 Chelsea Flower Show, (May 20-24) and RHS member’s tickets are already on sale!
Many young designers will be building show gardens for the first time at Chelsea 2014 including:
Hugo Bugg with his Royal Bank of Canada ‘Waterscape Garden – Embrace the Rain’
Harry and David Rich who had a very successful Artisan garden in 2013 will build a show garden for Bord na Mona
Matt Keightley has designed a garden called ‘Hope on the Horizon’, inspired by his brother’s service experience in Afghanistan
Charlotte Rowe‘s garden ‘No Man’s Land’ is also war-themed, reflecting the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI.
Other show garden designers include Adam Frost; Cleve West; Paul Hervey-Brookes; Matthew Childs; Gavin McWilliam and Andrew Wilson (from New Zealand); Tommaso del Buono – Del Buono Gazerwitz Landscape Design; Patrick Collins; Luciano Giubbilei; Catherine MacDonald and Susannah Hunter; Bartholomew Landscaping and Stoke-on-Trent City Council
Australian ex-pat Marylyn Abbott has designed a garden for the Artisans Garden section called ‘The Topiarist’s Garden’ where she will be competing against veteran Cheslea designer Kazuyuki Ishihara
