An enterprising UK chocolatier is finding his Brussel sprout chocolate truffles are getting plenty of interest this Christmas.
Andrew Simpson, who has a chocolate shop in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, developed the unique chocolates over 2 years ago but is still constantly fiddling with the recipe as each batch of sprouts tastes slightly different.
Simpson says ‘Unfortunately, although I have made them taste a lot better, I haven’t come up with a recipe which stops them giving you wind.’
