The Midnight Garden
MIFGS 2014 (Melbourne Flower Show) has a new category of show gardens this year called Boutique Gardens which cover a tiny 5m x 5m space.
Designer finalists are Lisa Ellis, James Ross Garden Design, Ross Uebergang, Arbour Landscaping Group and Trevor Griffett.
Lisa Ellis is creating a garden called ‘The Midnight Garden‘ which brings together gardening and our age-old love of watching and interpreting our night sky. The Midnight Garden will be a place of relaxation and rejuvenation while also star gazing and combines the four elements of earth, air, fire and water. Members of the Astronomical Society of Victoria will assist in placing garden elements to represent a star constellation.
