Australian Garden Show Sydney’s ambassadors are having a good time and crowds are ignoring the rain. It’s a good show this year and well worth a visit. Even in gumboots!

Dear Catherine,

It was a good show. I believe it was better than last year. It seemed tighter, and I felt there were more Q & A type tents, which the public seemed to savour, too. I loved Phil Dudmans comedy routine, and so did the people who made it to his tent! Angus Stewart, who I had the pleasure to work with, is the most exqusite balance of the common man and nobility. I felt the show gardens were also better, generally, than last year. I do hope the show continues, although it was a shame about the boggy nature of the site with all that traffic! Hugs, Bernard Chapman
