The Garden Conservancy

The Garden Conservancy, dedicated to saving and sharing outstanding American gardens, is celebrating its 25th season with a bumper crop of wonderful gardens to visit.

Highlights of the 2015 program include:

– ‘Beyond the Garden Gate’ in Charleston SC over two Saturdays – May 23 and May 30, where eight gardens will be opening in collaboration with the Spoleto Festival USA and the Charleston Horticultural Society.

Eastern Long Island Open Day in New York with 6 stunning gardens on Sunday June 21, 2015.

Litchfield Country Open Day in Connecticut has 9 gardens open on Saturday June 20, 2015.

Over the past 25 years, The Garden Conservancy has allocated funds and expert assistance to help preserve more than 100 outstanding American gardens faced with problems and challenges, including the Pearl Fryer Topiary Garden in Bishopville, SC, the Ruth Bancroft Gardens in Walnut Creek, CA, Hortulus Farm Garden and Nursery in Wrightstown, PA and the Gardens of Alcatraz in San Francisco, CA.
