125,000 sunflowers labyrinth celebrates Van Gogh

125,000 sunflowers form a temporary labyrinth entrance duringĀ 5-6 September 2015 to the Van Gogh Museumplein in Amsterdam, celebrating the opening of a new museum entrance and the artist’s love of this bright, sunny flower.

The 650 square metre (7000 square feet) labyrinth of sunflowers will have 3 separate areas for visitors, containingĀ a collage of Vincent Van Gogh ‘fan art’, a photo deck and also a music performance area.

On Sunday afternoon, the labyrinth will be dismantled and the flowers given to the public to take home and enjoy.
