Outstanding American Gardens features a selection of 50 public and private gardens of the more than 3,000 gardens that The Garden Conservancy has opened in the past 25 years, including 8 gardens that it has also helped preserve, such as the Ruth Bancroft garden in California and the Rocky Hills garden in New York. Separate sections cover gardens in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, South, Midwest, West, and the West Coast.

With inspiring and insightful prose by Page Dickey and sumptuous photographs by Marion Brenner, the book is a beautiful celebration of a wide range of America’s best gardens.
