The International Garden Festival at Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire in France turns 25 this year. Joyeux anniversaire.
The Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire has hosted the International Garden Festival since 1992. This annual event is a panorama of landscape creation, with more than 700 gardens created over 25 seasons. They are the prototypes of the gardens of tomorrow; a source of ideas and a nursery for talent.
The Festival gives a boost to the art of gardens and attracts both the public and industry professionals by displaying new flower arrangements, new materials, new ideas and new concepts. The gardens speak of many things, and are each year invented with humour and daring, new ways of seeing, living and approaching garden design. They also invite us to respect and dwell poetically on our planet.
New for 2016 is online ticket purchase. The International Garden Festival at Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire runs until 2 November 2016.
