Dr. Jeannie Sim is a garden historian and senior lecturer in landscape architecture at QUT, Brisbane. She has prepared several conservation plans for local historic landscapes including the Old Brisbane Botanic Gardens and the Grounds to Queensland Government House, Paddington. Her memberships include National Trust of Queensland (1974), Australian Garden History Society (1985) and FBBGSA (2015). While only an amateur gardener, she is devoted to her small experimental patch of sub/Tropicalia, where sustainable horticultural practices meet obsessive-compulsive plant collecting!
