Aug 23. Sad news. Colin Campbell died this morning after a short illness. Colin, who was much loved as a presenter on ABC’s Gardening Australia, was also well known in Queensland for his long running talkback weekend gardening show on radio 4BC. Colin retired from radio in January this year however he was still working for Gardening Australia. The TV show is putting together a special segment celebrating Colin’s contribution to the show, on this weekend ABC1 6.30pm Saturday & repeated 1pm Sunday. (from Jennifer Stackhouse)
