NYBG assesses tree damage from Hurricane Sandy

New York Botanical Gardens has assessed the damage from Hurricane Sandy. Over 100 trees, some of them several hundred years old were felled or damaged. Of particular concern are the rare specimens of pines, spruces and firs in the Garden’s two significant conifer collections.
