Illawarra TAFE wins 2013 TAFE NSW Landscaping Challenge!
The TAFE NSW Landscaping Challenge was introduced in 2011, which is conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) and held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The competition is judged on the visual impact and general presentation of the design, conformity to the theme, overall appeal, innovation, functionality and workmanship. It is judged by a panel of judges nominated by LNA (Landscaping NSW and ACT) and a celebrity judge. There is also be a People’s Choice Award which will run from Thursday 21 through to Thursday 28 March, with the winner to be announced on Good Friday 29 March 2013.
Designs are prepared by TAFE NSW landscape design students and constructed prior to the 2013 Sydney Royal Easter Show by TAFE NSW landscape construction students.
The theme for 2013 is ‘Small spaces, big ideas‘
