The American Society of Landscape Architects has announced its 2013 awards. The ASLA Medal 2013 goes to Warren T Byrd, of Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects in Charlottesville, Va. Byrd has had a distinguished career as both an educator and practising LA, winning more than 70 awards. So far. His recent body of work includes collaboration with Paul Murdoch Architects on the Flight 93 National Memorial park in Pennsylvania.
