Sussex will host the MacMillan Coastal Garden Trail on August 3-4, with 21 open gardens including the spectacular ‘Driftwood’, owned by organiser Geoff Stonebanks. Rising horticulture star Jack Dunckley, a recent Silver Gilt winner at Chelsea, will open the trail.
The Macmillan Coastal Garden Trail raises funds for the new Sussex MacmIllan Cancer Support Centre in Brighton. This year 22 coastal gardens stretching from Eastbourne to Brighton will open, hoping to raises thousands of pounds for the charity.
Jack Dunckley is only 20 yet already runs the huge Birchfield Nursery in Henfield, West Sussex, as well as designing gardens. His Chelsea Flower Show 2013 garden ‘Juxtaposition’ won a Silver Gilt Award.
