Historic Heronswood, the garden home of Diggers Club in Australia, has been damaged in a bushfire.
A local grass fire quickly spread through Dromana, Victoria, before it was brought under control by water bombing. Heronswood’s beautiful cafe building was destroyed but fortunately the historic house suffered only minor damage. It is not yet known whether the large garden surrounding the house has also been damaged.
