Asia’s brilliant spring bulb display gardens at Srinagar, Kashmir, India are open to the public again until 10 May with a special Spring Festival 12-14 AprilĀ 2014.
The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden at Srinagar, developed back in 2006-2007 has 12 hectares (20 acres) devoted to nearly 2 million tulips of all styles and colours.
Although not as well known as Keukenhof in Holland, the tulip garden at Srinagar continue to expand, and is Asia’s largest tulip garden.
The Spring Festival will feature eminent Bollywood personalities who have links to Kashmir, musical events, boat racing and local handicrafts, as well as the magnificent tulip display at its peak.
Cost: 50 rupees for adults.
