Landcare Australia 2014 awards -the prestigious Bob Hawke Landcare Award went to Colin Seis for his world-recognised ‘multi-species pasture cropping’. It’s great to see our farmers moving on from the early days of just planting trees to agriculture that’s not just sustainable but also restorative.
Colin Seis’s multi species pasture cropping is a zero-till system that helps produce food for the growing human population while restoring grasslands and soil, and thereby the sustainability of farms. Pasture cropping is now internationally recognised by leading crop scientists.
