Suitable for children aged three years and above, the Disney Fairies Trail augmented reality app highlights a trail through the Gardens where children can search for their favourite Disney Fairies including Tinker Bell, Silvermist, and Iridessa. Simply find a fairy and collect your prize – free seeds kindly provided by Diggers Club – from The Gardens Shop.

This summer, Disney Fairies will flutter into Melbourne Gardens with the brand new Disney Fairies Trail app. This augmented reality app is free to download and highlights a trail through the Gardens where children can search for their favourite Disney Fairies including Tinker Bell, Silvermist, and Iridessa. Once they find a fairy, they can collect their prize – free seeds kindly provided by Diggers Club – from The Gardens Shop. Along with Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands in Sydney, the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is proud to be a part of this new initiative that encourages children to spend time in nature.

“We are delighted to work together to bring the magic of Disney to the Gardens through the Disney Fairies Trail,” explains Prof. Tim Entwisle, Director and Chief Executive of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne.

The fun continues throughout summer, with the free app available to download and use in the Gardens from 30 November to 28 February.
