Landscape designers – are you tired of specifying the same-old same-old plants? And maybe not having them thrive in Sydney’s humid, ‘cool’ subtropical climate? Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney’s Growing Friends has a plant sale event aimed at trade customers with an exciting range of plants you probably don’t yet know. Wednesday 11 March, 2.30-4pm.

Growing Friends nursery will welcome professional landscape designers, architects, contractors and horticulturists to inspect and buy from its extensive range of unusual plants – all selected for their durability in Sydney’s cool subtropical climate.

Subtropical plant specialist Peter Nixon and production grower Greg Lamont will be on hand during the afternoon to offer selection and growing advice and answer your plant questions.

Growing Friends will also be ready to discuss contract growing of any of these plants for your future needs.

Growing Friends nursery is located on Mrs Macquaries Road, or from inside the site near the Succulent Garden.
