Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life at the New York Botanical Garden shows the artist’s close connections with plants and botany. From now until November 1, 2015, you can enjoy original works, and a reimagining of Kahlo’s famous garden and studio at Casa Azul.

Apart from seeing Kahlo’s vivid paintings and drawings, visitors can learn about the plants that she used in her artwork, such as sunflowers, cactus and dahlias, and enjoy ‘Frida al Fresco’ evenings and Mexican-themed shopping, food and music.

New York Botanical Garden in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory and the NYBG Art Gallery. Tickets online (all gardens and exhibitions pass) $20USD, Seniors and U18 $18USD. Members free.
