Would you like to paint the town BLUE? ‘The Blue Trees‘, an environmental art installation by Konstantin Dimopoulos is going to turn the trees of Sydney’s Pirrama Park in Pyrmont bright blue, and they’re looking for volunteers to help.
Over the first weekend of March, using a biologically safe water-based colourant, artist Konstantin Dimopoulos will transform over 20 living trees in Pirrama Park, Pyrmont to create The Blue Trees in Sydney for the first time, with the aid of a squad of volunteers. An ephemeral work, the trees will gradually revert back to their natural state with the aid of mother nature.
