Vivid, the winter festival that lights up Sydney, will extend into the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney during its 200th birthday celebrations with Garden of Light.
Created as a collaboration between the Technical Direction Company, HammerLighting, Mandy Lights and Ample Projects, Garden of Light will feature:

Cathedral of Light, a 70 metre tunnel inspired by the cathedral arched windows and made using many thousands of tiny LED lights, runs along the Farm Cove seawall. Sentiment Cocoon, an interactive installation that reflects the emotions of those within it, using the medium of light. Ambient skylight trickles into the cocoon and blends with LED lights that change depending on the mood of the participants. Artists: Moritz Behrens (Germany) / Konstantinos Mavromichalis (Canada). Collaborators: Arup / Nathan Whitford (Canada) / Achim Meyer (Germany).
