Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire is offering a night time walk along the paths of the International Garden Festival from 10pm until midnight up to 31 August 2016. Garden creations in the 25th Festival, currently in progress and themed ‘Gardens from the coming century’, will be illuminated by light engineers using low energy light-emitting diodes (LED).
The gardens will be transformed, taking on surprising and different colours from the ones seen during the daylight hours, and the night lighting will create mysterious atmospheres with giant and moving shadows, and subtle reflections to take the visitor’s imagination to spaces in magical landscapes.
The Garden Festival will be open for night time visits between 10pm (nightfall) and midnight. Last admissions 1 hour before the site closes. Every evening from the 1 July to 31 of August 2016.
