Best of Show Awards at the Singapore Garden Festival.
The 6th Singapore Garden Festival is the largest to date at 9.7 hectares, almost double the size of the 5 hectares in 2014. This year’s festival has 79 garden and floral displays – 21 by local designers, community gardeners, hobbyists and National Parks Board staff, with an additional 47 by professional designers across various competitive categories.
Four of the displays by professional designers were awarded Best of Show, in recognition of outstanding displays.
Landscape Gardens Category, The Treasure Box by Inch Lim from Malaysia
Fantasy Gardens Category, Nature’s Resolution by Stefano Passerotti from Italy
Balcony Gardens Category, Transcending Boundaries by Andy Eng from Singapore
Floral Windows to the World Category, Stretching Time by Natasha Lisitsa & Daniel Schultz from the USA
In the Landscape Designs Category, three other displays were awarded Gold – Garden Drum blogger Leon Kluge with Bayley LuuTomes; Adam Frost; and Kazuho Inohana with Yosuke Yamaguchi.
Silver was awarded to Andrew Wilson & Gavin McWilliam and James Basson & Bruno Torini.
Bronze was awarded to Garden Drum blogger Alison Douglas and Ann Teo.
In the Fantasy Gardens Category, one other Gold was awarded to Katsuhiko Koga & Kazuhiro Kagae.
Silver was awarded to Hugo Bugg, and Michael Petrie.
Bronze was awarded to John Tan & Raymond Toh, and Adam Shuter.
In the Balcony Gardens Category, Gold was also awarded to Gary Nai.
Silver to Lee Meng Kwan, and Erin Gotangco.
Bronze to Anita Lim.
The Singapore Garden Festival runs from 23–31 July 2016 at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.
