Self-watering pots have been saving gardeners time and effort for decades already, but a new product from a Netherlands outfit takes the guesswork out of refilling self-watering pots.
Studio Lorier launched the new product recently. Its breakthrough design sees the pot tipping slightly when the water reservoir is used up. The pot has an adjustable magnet on the bottom that can be set to limit the amount the pot tips when it’s empty, which enables taller plants to be grown in it without tipping the whole thing over.
It’s a wonderful, subtle way to tell you when you need to refill your pot’s water reservoir. And the design of the pots isn’t too bad either. Check out their kickstarter video below.
