Liz Chappell holds a BA(Communications) from UTS and worked as a journalist for a number of national magazines before returning to her family’s grazing property in Northern NSW. She relates her journey of learning to garden in this challenging, frosty climate in "Celebrate the Seasons: Garden memoirs of New England," (2015). Liz was a Regional Coordinator for Australia’s Open Garden Scheme (2006–10) and is co-deputy Chair of the Australian Garden History Society, Northern NSW.
