The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation is a not-for-profit charity that provides educational resources, training, support and inspiration to deliver pleasurable food education to Australian children. The Kitchen Garden Foundation was established by Stephanie Alexander AO in 2004 and the Kitchen Garden Program is now delivered in over 800 primary schools across Australia, teaching around 100,000 students every year the joys of growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh, seasonal, delicious food. In March 2015 the Foundation launched the Kitchen Garden Classroom – a membership service open to all schools, primary and secondary, as well as kindergartens, childcare centres and preschools.
